This is an attacking shot played to a short-pitched ball that bounces between the batsman's waist and chest height. The line of the ball is aligned between off to outside leg stump. This shot is played to spin bowlers or a medium pacer - NOT A FAST BOWLER. (Ideal shot to use against a leg spin bowler who drops one short)
